Wwe Raw 1/30/12

It is now time for the first RAW after the WWE Royal Rumble on January 30th 2012. On this night, we had Triple H give his job evaluation on John Laurinaitis. Also, in what has to be a dream match, the WWE Champion CM Punk takes on the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. Let’s not waste any time to recap and review all of the highlights of WWE RAW 1/30/12.

WWE RAW 1/30/12

Here’s Johnny! John Laurinaitis is confident that he will be made the permanent General Manager of RAW. He announces that the RAW Elimination Chamber match will feature CM Punk,

Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, the Miz, and Chris Jericho. Also there will be many great matches but out comes CM Punk to sing the goodbye song. Out comes Daniel Bryan, who talks about his win last night. He says Punk may be straight edge, but Daniel Bryan is a Vegan. Well if they wanted to make Daniel Bryan an obnoxious heel, that’s the thing they can play up. Punk muses about what Bryan might eat and Daniel Bryan promises to do bad things with the pipe bomb. A match is made and somewhere Ring of Honor marks just had to collectively change their pants. But hey it will be an awesome match regardless. Then Sheamus pops up to remind us he did win the 2012 Royal Rumble.

Wade Barrett will take on Randy Orton on Smackdown and promises pain for the Viper.

Randy Orton pinned Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler puts on a good show, has a good match with Orton, has a good performance, but loses. This seems to be going on with Ziggler for about the past year or so, where he has good matches across the board, taking the main event superstars to the limit, before he loses. RKO gets the job done on Ziggler.

Recap of the Kane and John Cena match.

John Laurinaitis kisses some ass and shakes some hands among the lower end of the roster backstage.

Brodus Clay pinned Tyler Reks

Its Funaksaurus time. Big Fat Cross Body, Fall of Humanity, Funk Yo Face, whatever you want to call it, it gets Brodus another win.

Daniel Bryan and CM Punk have more words, with Daniel Bryan explaining what a Vegan is. I should point out that animals were put on this earth for purposes of slaughter. Do you think that cow that you eat wouldn’t eat you and your entire family if it had the chance? Ah old school Simpsons references, never gets old And didn’t Daniel-San have a move called the Cattle Mutilation? You can have that one for free, Cole. Regardless we have CM Punk and Daniel Bryan tonight in a great match and Punk is the best in the world. PIPE BOMB.

Daniel Bryan defeated CM Punk via disqualification

This match was awesomesauce! Even with the disqualification. I highly recommend everyone watch this match. Finally we get the match that we were teased with over a year ago. Chris Jericho pulls Bryan off of the ring apron for the disqualification. Then Jericho takes Punk down with the Cold Breaker. Jericho and Punk…yeah hopefully it will be good but these two have had some buggy chemistry in the ring in the past and some good matches. Hopefully it will be the latter but it has been hit and miss.

Mike Tyson is

going to go into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Miz talks about how he lasted for forty five minutes in the Royal Rumble and Kofi’s getting praised for his handstand. Miz vows victory

Kofi Kingston pinned the Miz

Hey, screw you Evan Bourne, you drug addict! At least that’s what the result of this match seemed to imply and Kofi’s placement in the Elimination Chamber Match as well. Nice action in this match, fluid back and forth, with Kofi picking up the win with the Trouble in Paradise for the pin.

David Otunga and John Laurinaitis are preparing for what Triple H has to say.

A look at the Rock. Word on the street is that he has a big match coming up April 1st at Wrestlemania 28 against John Cena, yo.

WWE Diva’s Champion Beth Phoenix pinned Eve Torres.

Beth blitzes Eve for the pin.

Here’s Kane to menace Eve to continue this horror movie soap opera that is this storyline. John Cena is out to fight with Kane. Cena looks mad. He is rather ill tempered. He is embracing the hate! He is beating on Kane! Right in the head with the microphone but Kane avoids the Attitude Adjustment. Yeah it’s still John Cena regardless, so…yeah he makes a lot of merchandise money for WWE.

Time for your main event job evaluation. Here’s Johnny! Out comes John Laurinaitis and then out comes Triple H. It seems that Laurinaitis has not been doing well. Johnny Boy apologizes but that’s not good enough. Hunter teases a gauntlet match against the entire roster. Now that’s something worth paying for. Triple H teases making Laurinaitis join a certain club and Johnny Boy seemed ready for it, which gets a laugh at the expense of Trips. He warms up his future endeavors but….

The Undertaker comes out. He’s back! Undertaker is out and he stares at the Wrestlemania sign. Triple H doesn’t seem too gung ho about the prospect. The show goes off the air.

Why You Should Watch WWE RAW 1/30/12

Punk vs. Bryan, Ziggler vs. Orton, and Kofi vs. Miz naturally. Also the Undertaker(even if the rest of that segment left a lot to be desired)
