Wwe Raw 10/31/11

It is RAW from Halloween Night featuring the Rock’s response from John Cena. Also the Muppets were in the house on RAW. Plus a huge one on one main event, with John Cena going one on one with the Miz in a return match from the main event of Wrestlemania 27. This is WWE RAW for October 31st 2011.

WWE RAW 10/31/11

The Rock is in the house…via satellite. He cuts a promo, talking about the tag team match, making it official. Well obviously he wasn’t going to turn it down.

CM Punk has to defeat Mark Henry to get his title match

with Alberto Del Rio at Survivor Series. Well there’s no good way that this match can end.

Mark Henry defeated CM Punk via disqualification

These two men have a match, really it is nothing more than that, until the finish, when Ricardo Rodiguez rushing into the ring. Ricardo attacks Mark Henry getting Punk disqualified. Henry does not seem too happy with Ricardo attacking him and registers his disapproval by laying out Ricardo with the World’s Strongest Slam. Del Rio doesn’t lift a finger to help his employee, because let’s face it, Mark Henry is the most awesome force in WWE and even if you’re Alberto Del Rio, he’ll still induct you into the hall of pain. But you already knew that.

Three Hour RAW in two weeks. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Send in the Muppets, with Miss Piggy and Kermit. Vickie Guerrero and Jack Swagger come out to interrupt. They want no trouble with Swagger or “Swagger’s mother”. Santino Marella makes his way out, as does Zack Ryder, and there is just a lot of wackiness. Kelly Kelly is out to kiss Kermit and raise the ire of Miss Piggy. Not surprised, that little strumpet’s been with everyone in the company, from Mike Knox on up.

Eve won a Halloween Costume Battle Royal

Diva’s battle royals always make me cringe, because I know there might be a fatality. On the bright side, no one rolled out of the ring, quit, was kept on the roster for two months, before going to TNA this time. As far as I know anyway. Eve dumps Natalya and becomes the number one contender to the Butterfly Belt. It’s the same old show!

Kelly and Alicia save Eve from a beating from Beth and Kelly.

The epic meeting of the ages between Beaker and Sheamus. Sheamus can’t make the family reunion this year. Ha!

Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett defeated Air Boom.

A makeshift team defeats the WWE Tag Team Champions in a non title match. That just about figures. Air Boom is a pretty good tag team for WWE, but watching the Briscoe Brothers and the All Night Express on Ring of Honor, they do seem a bit lower on the totem pole. Wasteland takes down Bourne for the pin.

Christian attacks but out comes Sheamus. Add another guy on each side and we can have a Survivor Series Match.

It’s Statler and Waldorf! Yay! They talk about the last match.

Punk enters the office of Mrs. Baba’s favorite wrestler. He can have a match with Del Rio if Del Rio agrees.

The Big Show defeated Alberto Del Rio

These two men had a pretty lengthy match and a pretty decent for what it was. Del Rio goes for the Enzuigiri but the Big Show pops up and nails him with the knockout punch. Big Show pins the WWE Champion cleanly right in the center of the ring. Well to be fair, he is a giant.

Punk is out, with a water bottle, and he revives Del Rio, while asking him the question. Punk puts Alberto Del Rio in the Anaconda Vice and won’t let him go until Del Rio says yes! Punk refuses to let go until Del Rio says yes. Del Rio is in pain and Punk gets his title shot

when Del Rio says that. What an insane way to set up a title match.

Fozzy and Gonzo meet Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger. Swagger and Ziggler brutalize Gonzo.

Santino Marella defeated Jack Swagger.

Beaker runs out and gives Santino a drink. Santino spits the drink right in the face of Swagger and cradles him for a pin. Jack Swagger, he went from losing to Santino to winning Money in the Bank to becoming World Heavyweight Champion to becoming a midcarder to become Michael Cole’s lackey to losing to Santino after Santino gets help from a Muppet.

Zack Ryder defeated Dolph Ziggler.

These two men had a pretty decent match. I guess they gave up on Mason Ryan and we’re going back to Zack Ryder. Ryder takes on Dolph Ziggler with the Ruff Ryder scoring the pin. The dream is still alive. Woo, Woo, you know it!

Kevin Nash has been re-signed and Triple H suffered injuries. It must be age catching up with him. I mean back in 2000, he came back eight days later after getting dropped from fifty feet in a crane while in the car with nary a scratch. A sledgehammer attack puts him out for five weeks. Man Triple H is looking rather weak. How dare he bury the talent in such a manner!

Michael Cole…well JR is not here this week apparently so the match is off. He makes a joke about adult diapers. This is why WWE shows are best enjoyed on mute. The only good thing about this is Statler and Waldorf getting a quality burn on Michael Cole. These guys should review Impact. I bet it would be awesome.

Miss Piggy flirts with John Morrison. Morrison has plans(and a psychotic girlfriend but that’s beside the point). Piggy will be going out with Hornswoggle and Cody Rhodes put a paper bag on Kermit’s head. Wacky.

More with Statler and Waldorf regarding the Miz.

John Cena defeated the Miz.

To make a long story short, R-Truth ran out in a Scream mask but Cena attacked him. Then he put Miz in the STF for the tap out. Cena hits Truth with the Attitude Adjustment.

Why You Should Watch WWE RAW 10/31/11

Muppets. There was some weird booking on this show wrestling wise and Cena beat up two men by himself but that’s par for the course.
