Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Episode 77 Menace, Maestro Please Review.
There is no episode 76 for the vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. There was a change in numberingor something. I have no idea.
This episode blew some rather rabid chunks. It had the return of Howie who is obnoxious as ever. Shredder and Krang had some decent moments but really even they could not save this dung heap of an episode. Raphael as he sometimes does speaks for the viewers, when he just rolled his eyes at Howie's attempts to turn everything into song.
The Shredder disguised himself as the Phantom of the Floxy and every single person in this episode just took a big honking plate of stupid pills. April especially was the cream of it all.
Howie's friend Eric was an alien named Erk and his spaceship is a giant pipe organ. Yeah, makes perfect sense to me. Bebop and Rocksteady being unfazed about themselves walking by in disguised really did nearly add a point.
Donatello had a Phantom Tracker in this episode. Of course, he locked onto the mask of the phantom and in the theater, there were a bunch of masks. Go figure.
The day was saved and this episode was bad. The CBS episodes will hopefully be a marked improvement. This last batch of syndication episodes were particularly bad. There were great moments but the pacing of them was wonky.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Episode 77 Menace, Maestro Please gets a 2/10 rating. This episode can be watched legally on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles complete season 4 set.
