Tmnt Episode 67 Turtles Of The Jungle Review

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Episode 67 was titled Turtles of the Jungle. In this episode, Professor William W. Willard has a molecular intensifier, a device which causes growth. Willard's pet monkey gets zapped and so does Donatello. Shredder and Krang want the device. The Turtles have to stop him.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Episode 67 Turtles of the Jungle first aired on September 11th 1990 in syndication. The following episode was the second episode of Season 4 of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Episode 67 Turtles of the Jungle Review.

Season 4 represented a more turn to the slightly

more slapstick. As a result, the second episode of Season 4 really was all over the rails. There were animation errors. The plot was jerky in this episode. Many moments in the episode were presented where the transitions were sloppy.

Shredder in particular really did fall into a new kind of pathetic in this episode. He goes and gets the Molecular intensifier gadget. He gets tripped up easily several times. Then he manages to tie up Raphael, Michelangelo, and Leonardo, but he took his sweet time. Long enough for the Turtles to escape and just casually knock him through the portal.

Shredder did get one cool scene where he cut through the jungle growth with his gauntlet but I'll give it that.

By season four of the TMNT series, it is obviously that it's

all about the action figures and the product tie ins. Such was the nature of cartoons of the 1980s and 1990s. Some twenty two minute toy commercials were good while others were not so good. Turtles of the Jungle had some poor editing and pacing. It's just like they threw together a script in five minutes.

Crazy old mad scientist with a King Kong parody and April is taken to the top of a high building. Donatello's little fixing of the machine was cute and him fixing the television when he kicked it was good.

I would not try that at home.

Turtles of the Jungle had moments but it was bad and the villain banter was uninspired. Shredder was pathetic, Krang was barely there, and no Bebop and Rocksteady. The rating for this episode is 3/10.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Episode 67 Turtles of the Jungle can be watched on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 4 DVD.
