April does a story with her crime solving aunt, Agatha Marbles, who wants to meet theTurtles. Speaking of which, Leonardo and Michelangelo run afoul of two thugs named Bruce and Rodney, who are stealing kimonos. They manage to save most of the kimonos, except for Master Splinter. They work for Don Turtelli, who wants every kimono in the city. He discovers that April might know something, so he has his thugs kidnap her(with Vernon going along for the ride), for some extreme torture via tickling with a feather.
The Turtles and Aunt Agatha trap Don Turtelli by using a false Kimono house, with Leonardo, Raphael, and Michelangelo in a crate, with Agatha and Donatello following on the Turtle Cycle. The Turtles do battle with Don Turtelli and his thugs, but April and Vernon, in their attempt to escape, managed to reach the outside of the ledge.

This is really the first episode where there is a real problem where the Turtles have their abilities get absolutely dumbed down to an absurd degree, that really hit absurd levels in Season 4, with all of the mad scientist of the week episode. They were much more competent against Shredder, Krang, Bebop, and Rocksteady(And the Rat King and Leatherhead by extension as well), but they tended to work down to the level.
Oh, April's aunt, a character with awesome crime solving abilities would get laughed out of most fan fictions. Although she does show up again.
Don Turtelli, is not like the Don Turtelli that showed up in Burne's Blues. He is much thinner, has darker hair, and a different voice. Now either there is more than one Don Turtelli, the fat guy could have been an imposter, or really the people behind this show just didn't care. He sounded like the Butcher from the Maltese Hamster episode.
I don't recall much of this episode from my childhood, which really does show you this one.
