Impact Wrestling 10/25/12 Review.

So what did this reviewer think of Impact Wrestling for October 25th 2012? The main event was the highlight of the show, Aries against Mr. Anderson was a good match, but the rest of the show was kind of weak.

The Aces and Eights Storyline, it’s kind of lost its charm. Granted, it was losing steam long before Bound for Glory, but I was fair enough to give it the benefit of the doubt. Now Devon being a member was fine. Bully Ray’s babyface turn was weird, but it may lead to an intriguing match. Maybe not a good match, but an intriguing one, but still the storyline’s reached past due.

Rob Van Dam wins a token rematch with Zema Ion. The real story is Joey Ryan and Matt Morgan ran out, and attacked Rob Van Dam. I’m on board with a potential

Joey Ryan X-Division Title run, as it could be promising.

How many title shots have the Robbies gotten this year at this Television Title? And none of them were really deserved. Joe eats Robbie T and keeps his title.

Aries and Anderson was an engaging match. Of course, Austin Aries could get a good match out of a mop, and Mr. Anderson is slightly better than a pop.

Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle have this interesting chemistry that results in good matches despite them being broken down shells of their former selves. Hardy retains the title. Of course, you knew Angle was going to be the contender. Aces and Eights run out but the dynamic duo of Wes Brisco and Garrett Bischoff makes the save.

Gutcheck returns next week with Christian York, former tag team partner of Joey Mercury/Matthews, being the contestant.

Christopher Daniels and Kazarian are still awesome and I’m looking forward to their tag team title match against Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez.

Impact Wrestling had its moments, but not as good as the vast majority of the 2011-2012 Season.
